The NisMedia Group which was established in 1983, offers its clients a wide variety of media platforms ranging from billboards to community newspapers. The group is one of the largest fully black-owned private media companies in the country and also publishes a variety of community newspapers. In the Gauteng Province alone, the group boasts nine (9) community newspapers. These papers are delivered door-to-door in residential areas, many of which do not have other
similar papers in the area.
The nine publications are: Laudium Sun (Est. 1984), Centurion Sun, Lenasia Sun, Tshwane Sun Central, Tshwane Sun Mamelodi, Tshwane Sun Soshanguve, Tshwane Sun Atteridgeville, Tshwane Sun Hammanskraal & Tshwane Sun West.
