All smiles as Laudium Hospital launches ‘I serve with a smile’ campaign

The Laudium Community Health Center (LCHC) on Bengal Street more commonly known as the Laudium Hospital, held an open day for the public last Friday (June 13).

Laudium resident, Shenaaz Wassim, (Deputy Chair of the Laudium Hospital), together with another resident, ready to hand over a gift to MEC Nomantu.

The open day served as an opportunity for the facility to showcase its health services to the members of the public. The special guest who attended was the MEC of Health (Gauteng) – Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko. The hospital presented various themes on the open day to the public…

Launch of ‘I Serve with a Smile’ Coordinator, Sr Lydia Mamashela, told the Laudium Sun, “The Programme was designed to remind all staff of the importance of providing exceptional customer services to our patients and their families, to improve patient’s experience of care.”

One – Clinic, One Garden project …Meant to improve the overall health and well being of local residents through sustainable integrated solution. MEC Nomantu told the Laudium Sun, “Today, we’re excited to launch our new initiative, I Serve with a Smile.’

This program is designed to remind us all of the importance of providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families.
