In this edition of ‘Sporting Stars of Tomorrow,’ we turn the spotlight on Laudium Primary School learners, Tyrese Naidoo and Alvaro Ramden, who have more in common than just their school. The pair share an enthusiasm for Mathematics and proudly represent the same football club, Eagles FC. Despite their similarities, their roles on the pitch highlight their individuality. While Tyrese takes on a creative role as a central-attacking-midfielder, driving his team forward, Alvaro stands firm between the posts, as goalkeeper. Their shared admiration for international football icon, Cristiano Ronaldo, further fuels their ambitions. Tyrese dreams of becoming a pro-soccer player, while Alvaro has his sights firmly set on becoming a successful businessman.
