
The Caring Women’s Forum-Pretoria (CWF) and Minara Chamber of Commerce-Gauteng Chapter, joined hands to host a vibrant women empowerment event over breakfast, at the elegant MiHa Restaurant, Raslouw, in celebration of Women’s Month. The event, held last Saturday morning (Aug 2), brought together over 100 women from Laudium & surrounding areas and even beyond, ready for a morning of inspiration. The gathering was more than
just a celebration, it was a call to uplift women entrepreneurs, embrace inner growth for outer success and pursue goals with purpose, as propounded by guest speakers; Zahida Adam Kara, Dr Aadila Pretorius and Zaheerah Bham Ismail, respectively, with co-chair of the CWF, Zaheera Mohamed and treasurer, Nazma Tar, also addressing the attendees. The warm spirit inside MiHa truly stood out at the women empowerment function, in a way that was as meaningful as it was memorable.
In honour of Women’s Month, the Women’s Forum-Pretoria and Minara Chamber of Commerce – Gauteng Chapter, proudly hosted a vibrant women empowerment event, over breakfast, last Saturday (Aug 2), at the elegant MiHa Restaurant in Raslouw, bringing together women from across Gauteng, to celebrate unity, growth, and empowerment.

The morning began with a warm welcome from Zaheera Mahomed, Co-Chair of the Caring Women’s Forum-Pretoria, who set the tone for a day filled with inspiration and connection.
Zahida Adam Kara, Director of the Minara Chamber of Commerce, opened the event with a powerful address on the importance of networking and unity in uplifting women entrepreneurs. Her message resonated deeply, highlighting how collaboration and shared vision can unlock new opportunities for women in business.
Dr Aadila Pretorius, a traditional doctor in Ethnopsychology, NLP, and Neuro- Semantics, captivated attendees with her insights on healing, transformation, and achieving mental and personal wellness goals. Her holistic approach encouraged women to embrace inner growth as a foundation for outer success.
Zaheerah Bham Ismail, Business Coach and Activist, closed the speaker lineup with an energizing talk on business life skills, urging women to pursue their goals with purpose and passion. Her practical wisdom and motivational energy left the audience inspired to take bold steps toward personal and professional development.
The event was a celebration of female resilience, leadership, and community, reinforcing the importance of creating spaces where women can thrive together. As the event drew to a close, Nazma Tar, Treasurer of the Caring Women’s Forum Pretoria, expressed her delight at the strong turnout of over 110 attendees, calling the breakfast event a huge success and a testament to the powerful partnership between Minara Chamber of Commerce and the Caring Women’s Forum-Pretoria.
