The Darul Uloom Pretoria Dawa Centre in conjunction with Nur Islamic Educational Center on Bengal Street, Laudium Ext 3, hosted their annual Jalsa program, with local and international scholars in attendance this past Saturday (November 29).
Taj-ul-Ulama, Hazarat Pir Syed Noorani Miya from Kichouchha, India was the chief guest of the program, along with various Sunni scholars globally, Moulana Azhar Pirbokas all the way from Mauritius, Moulana Hafeez Waqas Rahman all the way from the United Kingdom, Hazarat Moulana Sayyed Imraan Ziaae from Cape Town, Qari Idris Rajab all the way from Durban, esteemed Ulama of Lesotho and various local Ulama were also part of the program. Moulana Abubakr Kelentse the educator at Dawa center said he appreciated the hard work of Hazarat Allama Mufti Muhammad Akbar Hazarvi Sahib, the Rector and Acting Principal of Darul Uloom Pretoria and his Deputy Principal, Hazarat Professor Moulana Hafeez Ismael Hazarvi Sahib for there great work of spreading Islam and producing highly qualified scholars in the Republic of South Africa. He also expressed his appreciation to Mufti Muhammad Sulehri Sahib, who is the senior educator of Darul Uloom Pretoria and the acting principal of Dawa centre. He concluded by thanking his guider, Murshid-e Alam, Hazarat Sayyed Haseen Uddin Shah Sahib from Pakistan, for all his great work and all his sincere duas for the Darul Uloom Pretoria.
