“Easter is a significant event that celebrates the Crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a powerful and life-changing message that offers forgiveness for our sins, gives us a purpose to live for, and secures our eternal future in heaven.
The Importance of the Resurrection
The Resurrection of Jesus Provides the Power to Have Eternal Life with God. Jesus demonstrated that God has power over death. He died at the hands of professional executioners, yet after days lying in a tomb, God raised Jesus back to life. The resurrection of Jesus is the most important event in human history, if Christ had not risen from the dead, then our faith would be empty and useless. Our sins would remain unforgiven, and all those who have died would be eternally lost. Without the resurrection, our faith would be a complete waste of time. We experience Forgiveness through Easter. Through Jesus’s death on the cross, He paid the full penalty for our sins. When we accept Him as our Savior and Lord, all our failures, problems, and bad decisions are forgiven and wiped away. We are set free from guilt and given a new beginning. Power and Promises of Easter Jesus’s resurrection demonstrated His power over death and the grave. This same power is available to us, enabling us to overcome our habits, hurts, and hang-ups. It empowers us to let go of guilt, forgive others, and keep going even when we feel like giving up. Let’s make this world a better place to live, end all wars, killings, seek peace, live in unity, remove discrimination, feed the hungry and live a life of encouragement.

“But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid; I know that you are looking for Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has been raised, as he said” (Matthew 28, 5-6). As we celebrate Easter, we remind you: “Christ is risen! He is risen indeed!” Throughout the centuries, the Easter greeting “Christ is risen!” has always infused Christians with the power and courage to confront death, destruction, oppression, end enslavement, fear, doubt and uncertainty. As we are confronted today with so many different challenges in our community, we assure you that we are united with you in prayers and together we declare our common faith and hope in the Risen Lord! Have a blessed Easter in Christ!”

“He is risen, may God’s goodness bless your home this Easter. May the spirit of Easter bring you closer to those you hold dear.”

“I wish all my Parish owners Happy Easter and may we continue to praise Jesus our Lord and I welcome all who still never welcome Jesus Christ as their Lord saviour to come and be baptized in his name.”

“He is Risen! This Easter, we celebrate the victory of Jesus over death and the promise of new life for all who believe. “The pastors and congregation of Pentecostal Revival Centre would like to wish all a blessed resurrection weekend also known as Easter weekend. Let us reflect on the significance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Phillippians 4v6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God.” This promises us that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. How fortunate that we can rest in the peace of God this Easter. The resurrection of Christ adds an even deeper layer of meaning to these words, for it signifies the ultimate victory over despair and the assurance of new beginnings. May we look to the finished work of the cross with gratitude and joy. May we rejoice that we are redeemed, forgiven and are more than conquerors, because of Jesus death on the cross. As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, we pray that you are filled with joy, peace and hope in knowing that he lives! Happy Easter, He is risen! The leadership and congregation of Pentecostal Revival Centre, would like to wish all Christians a happy Easter weekend.

“The bible gives us a few messages over this week of the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will focus on Ephesians 2:8 the first is sacrifice by grace. Jesus willingly with grace sacrificed his life as perfect man in the place of us for our sins to be forgiven. The second message is the one of love. He sacrificed his life because he loved the world. This includes everyone in our world. We note from our text that Jesus saves us from our sin. This is salvation. It is not through works or efforts by ourselves. It is through faith. Faith is the third message. Most importantly this faith is a gift from God. Our faith comes from nowhere else but our Father in Heaven. In Romans 8:16 the bible tells us that the spirit with a capital letter “S” the Holy Spirit of God testifies and identifies with our spirit with a small letter “s” which is our spirit that we are children of God. So the conviction of knowing, believing in Jesus Christ can only be the work of the holy spirit. This confirms the work of Jesus Christ was accomplished by the triune God of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit for all of us in this world. May you be blessed.
You are welcome to join us for our services on Good Friday at 8 am and on Resurrection Sunday at 6 am at the Reformed Church Charisma on Jewel Street, Laudium. Shalom.”

“We greet our people with the message of love and care. This was displayed by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for the whole world.”

“Our message is one of goodwill and sacrifice. The Lord Jesus showed this over this weekend 2000 years ago.”

“Our message as a family is for us to be united as people in life and living. We must show this spirit to all in our communities as Jesus Christ brought people in his time together.”

“Easter is the most significant and fundamental celebration of the Christian faith. It is about forgiveness of sins, getting a clean slate before God, and gaining the hope of eternal life through Jesus’ death on a cross and His resurrection three days later. It is a time of comfort and hope for all who believe. It is this hope and comfort that I wish all to receive this Easter.”
