This week, we swing the spotlight on Musab Mohammed and Mu’utaz Mohammed, who attend Al Ghazali College and proudly represent their school club, Al Ghazali FC, with Musab playing as a determined defender, while Mu’utaz showcases his skills as a lively right-winger. Although they share much enthusiasm for the beautiful game, their football heros and ambitions differ. Musab greatly admires Cristiano Ronaldo, dreaming of one day becoming a professional soccer star and competing at the highest level. Mu’utaz on the other hand looks up to Neymar Jr for his exciting style of play, but his greatest aspiration is to be a good Muslim and serve humanity. Young players like Musab and Mu’utaz remind us that football is about more than just goals, it is also about values. We wish the young pair every success both on and off the field.
