The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of South Africa, in partnership with the Tayfin Royale Hotel and Conference Centre (under the direction of Mahomed Mahier Tayob, CEO of Tayfin Forensics) and the South Africa and Kazakhstan Trading and Cultural Association (SAKTCA), directed by Dr. Asadullah Karimov, successfully hosted a Roundtable Discussion on “Investment Opportunities in Kazakhstan” at the Tayfin Royale Conference Centre in Pretoria, last Wednesday.

The event brought together many prominent business leaders and investors from South Africa, Namibia, and Mozambique, who gathered to explore Kazakhstan’s growing investment and economic potential. The discussions highlighted key sectors of opportunity – including innovation, technology, logistics, agriculture, mining and education – underscoring Kazakhstan’s transformation into a dynamic hub for global investors.
In his opening remarks, His Excellency Yerkin Akhinzhanov, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to South Africa, reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to strengthening economic and trade relations with Southern Africa. The keynote presentation, “Investment Opportunities in Kazakhstan,” provided detailed insights into the country’s strategic advantages, favorable investment climate, and emerging sectors for international collaboration.
