Is Cllr Patel feeling threatened by new ‘Iron Ladies’ group…& up to his ‘dirty tricks’?

Prajay now a victim… Patel sends out seemingly fake email objection from a David Hoosen

Despite numerous ‘threats’ to back off, the two ‘IRON LADIES’ who, through the recently launched Concerned Community Forum (CCF) have vowed to stand up for residents of Laudium/Erasmia in getting better service delivery, are not letting go.

This follows Cllr Patel recently ‘crying’ (seemingly with crocodile tears) when he approached an elderly and sick family member of one of the ‘Iron Ladies’ pleading with him to stop her from going ‘against him.’

Lushika Mooloo, one of the ‘iron ladies’ of the CCF, said she was shocked but not suprised that Cllr Patel had forwarded the seemingly phony email.

Now even a so called ‘Moulana’ has approached one of the ladies to ‘back off’ from ‘exposing’ Cllr Patel. In recent developments, the one sided ‘dirty game’ has now moved to attacking Cllr Prajay Ramjee, just because he has publically stated that he will work with all
residents who are interested in making the Laudium/Erasmia area, a better place for all law abiding residents… including the CCF. This follows an alleged email sent by an alleged David Hoosen, which was sent to various officials and politicians at the Tshwane Council, objecting to Prajay’s planned ‘Xtreme Outdoor Adventure’ this Sunday (June 22) at 410 Himalaya Street, comprising of a trail run, a 5km hike and 4×4 showcase, starting at 8am (see advert pg13). The so-called email was then sent to others by Cllr Patel. In response, the Xtreme Group said…

Just when you thought you’d seen it all in Laudium, enter David Hoosen, a mysterious figure with no face, no address, no email address and no chill. As the organizing team behind the upcoming Xtreme Day Event, we didn’t expect to find ourselves in a Municipal soap opera. Response from CCF…

WHO IS DAVID HOOSEN, AND WHY DID COUNCILLOR PATEL FORWARD THE SUSPICIOUS/PHONY EMAIL?

As Laudium prepares for the Xtreme Outdoor Event this Sunday, excitement is growing. The event promises fresh energy, local stalls, entertainment, and something positive for our
families and youth. But just days before this long planned event, an odd email emerged.

The apparent email was allegedly sent to Councillor Naeem Patel by someone claiming to be David Hoosen. In it, David questioned why Councillor Prajay Ramjee was allowed to host the event on the Laudium Hill, also known as the mountain.

Cllr Patel sent out the apparent phony email from an alleged David Hoosen, objecting to an outdoor adventure that Cllr Prajay will be hosting on Sunday (see advert – page 13).

Councillor Patel then forwarded this apparent email to Councillor Ramjee, who had invited the newly formed Concerned Citizens Forum (CCF) to attend the event. The contents of the email raised serious concerns but so did the email itself.

PR Councillor, Prajay Ramjee, has been targeted via emails sent out by Cllr Patel from a seemingly fake David Hoosen, objecting to a community outdoor event (See ad page 13).

Here’s the real issue:

  1. No one knows who David Hoosen is.
  2. The email shows no visible or verifiable email address.
  3. Why did Cllr Patel not question this? Did he fail to notice the missing email address, or was it deliberately hidden?

This is especially troubling because Councillor Patel himself has used Council chambers for personal events including birthday parties, without any public complaints.

Civic halls booked out for cake and curry, while CPF members laughing it up no permits, no panic. Yet here we are, watching a well organized community event come under fire through an anonymous email.

As the CCF, we’re simply asking:
– Why is a fake sounding email being taken seriously?
– Why now, just days before a peaceful event?
– Why do certain Councillors get a free pass for personal use of public property, while others get attacked anonymously?
– And where was David when; White Blocks residents begged for safety? Rats ate through foundations and children walked past drug dens?
