Jacaranda Callies delivered a commanding performance in the Tshwane Regional Development League Under-17 encounter, defeating Safako Makgatho University 4–0 at the Laudium Sports Fields on Saturday morning (June 21).

The match kicked off at around 10:45am under crisp winter skies and from the outset, Callies showed their intent to control the game. Sihle Makgopa added to the tally with a well-taken goal, rounding off a dominant attacking display by Jacaranda Callies. The team’s midfield controlled possession for large parts of the match, cutting off any meaningful chances for Safako Makgatho University, who were unable to register a single goal in response. Callies’ victory further solidifies their position as one of the teams to watch this season in the U17 division. Coach and players alike will be pleased with the clean sheet and clinical finishing.
