Jacaranda Primary School proudly hosted its annual Sports Day last Wednesday (Jan 28) at the Laudium Stadium.
Learners participating were divided into four sporting teams. Lions, Buffalos, Rhinos and Leopards. The team members arrived in high spirits, dressed in their colourful sports kits and eager to take part in the day’s activities, despite the intense heat and the ongoing water shortages. The event featured a variety of track and field activities, encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy competition among learners. Parents, teachers and fellow learners gathered to support the participants, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere. ”All those in attendance had fun and the day was both eventful and a great success for the school,” a teacher told the Laudium Sun.
