“Simply overwhelming,” remarked a Jacaranda Primary School educator, after Jacaranda Primary was declared the first-place winner at a water conservation competition. The competition was held at Hillside Primary School last Thursday (March 9) during which the Jacaranda Primary Science Club presented how alien plants use more water than indigenous plants. Also in attendance were Jacaranda Primary Educators, Farzana Ebrahim and Suhail Ismail as well as one of the schools EA’s (Educator Assistant), Mohau Mosena. *It is inspiring indeed to see children tackle important issues like water conservation as preserving this vital resource is of crucial importance. Congratulations to Jacaranda Primary on your well-deserved win.
