Jurassic World Rebirth: Releasing in cinemas – July 4

Synopsis:
Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) leads a team of skilled operatives to the most dangerous place on Earth, an island research facility for the original Jurassic Park. Their mission is to secure genetic material from dinosaurs whose DNA can provide life saving benefits to mankind. As the top secret expedition becomes more and more risky, they soon make a sinister, shocking discovery that’s been hidden from the world for decades.

Sun Review:
Jurassic World: Rebirth isn’t just another run-from-the-raptor action fest. This instalment brings back the wonder, tension and awe that made Jurassic Park iconic, while still delivering modern thrills. Directed with purpose and packed with suspense, it’s a solid return to what fans have long been craving: less chaos, more heart. Scarlett Johansson steps confidently into the franchise as Zora Bennett, a strong but grounded leader who brings more grit than glamour to the role. Her team is believable, the stakes feel real, and most importantly, the dinosaurs feel dangerous again. These creatures aren’t just background noise or comic relief; they’re majestic, terrifying, and vital to the story. The film is far from perfect, with some subplots feeling undercooked and not every character gets their due. But where it shines is in tone. There’s a real sense of respect for the original Jurassic Park, from the way the island is shot to the way the story unfolds with slow-burn suspense instead of just constant CGI chaos.

Sun Verdict:
Rebirth lives up to its name, breathing new life into a franchise that had lost its bite. A must-watch for old-school fans and thrill seekers alike.
