Following a recent post on social media by Cllr Patel (Changu) stating “Doesn’t he look like Shrek. If you know you know,”(see post below) a number of readers started playing the guessing game as to who is this ‘Shrek.’
While most of those who responded said that they see ‘Shrek’ as a short and stout person, with a kind of funny looking face, there was a difference of opinion as to who best fitted ‘Shrek.’ Although 2-3 people said Cllr Naeem was best suited to be called ‘Shrek’ as he had a huge tummy, until recently when he went to Türkiye and spent huge amounts of money to have bariatric surgery, to cut the fat out of his stomach, the majority said that Naeem’s partner, Shaheen Wahab (Mangu) was best suited to be called ‘Shrek’ as he fitted the image very appropriately. So the winner seems to be Mangu for the title of ‘Shrek,’ in addition to the many other titles he has been bestowed with, as CPF Chair and the Laudium Sun says to Mangu or ‘Shrek’ or whatever, please collect your prize from Changu.
