Two young Laudium Cricket Club players who represented Titans Cricket Franchise in the 2025 Gauteng Lions Primary Schools Cricket Cup, bagged winner’s medals at the tournament that was played in Johannesburg from November 29 – December 2.
The tournament featured most provincial cricket franchises in the country.
Aarav Patel an all-rounder, Gr 6 learner at Erasmia Primary School and Khalalelo Hoshoko wicket keeper and batsman learner at Andrew Anthony Primary School are captain and vice-captain in the Laudium Cricket Club u13 team. They were selected to represent Titans NAVY u12 team after a round of highly competitive trials held two months ago.
They were coached by Jaco van Answegen and Tumelo and beat their fellow Titans Sky u12 team by 9 wickets in the final played on the 02-12-2025. Titans SKY team posted 100/9 (20.0/20 OV) and Titans NAVY posted 102/1 (13.4/20 OV).
