Kids Corner – August ‘26

World Photography Day is celebrated on August 19 each year and reminds us just how wonderful it is to capture the world around us, through pictures. Every photograph tells a little story. It could be a picture of your family, a beautiful flower, funny face or even an amazing sunset. Photographs help us remember special moments, long after they have passed. You don’t need to be a professional photographer to take a great pic. Sometimes the best pictures are simply the ones that make you smile. So, this August, look around you. Notice colors, greenery, people, buildings little things you might just walk past. You may be surprised at how many picture-perfect moments are waiting to be discovered. Try taking a photograph of something that makes you happy. Perhaps your favorite toy, a special family member, a flower or even the beautiful sky. Ready, aim, smile… CLICK. Take some pictures and make some memories!!!

Congratulations to our winners!!!

Below are the three Kids Corner readers who really excelled in our July contest and are our chosen winners! And here we stress chosen winners…as the number of entries we receive each month never ceases to astonish us! It is amazing – and the quality absolutely breathtaking (our judges certainly have their work cut out for them!) We are thrilled! To think that such incredible talent lies in the hands of our young readers! What a great thought, knowing that we can expect only great things from you! We’d say, keep it up, but we just know that’s what you plan on doing in any case, without any prompting from us! Let’s rather say, keep us amazed!
