Matric Shining Stars of 2025 – Terrific 3 Distinctions!

Maseeha Kajee (Laudium Secondary School) obtained 3 distinctions in; Tourism, Business Studies and Mathematical Literacy. “As my high-school journey comes to an end, I just want to say I am grateful for all my educators who made it possible for me to persevere. Matric is not easy, but hard work always pays off. I intend to study at UNISA and I wish to further my studies and become a teacher in the future.”

Nasiha Bhai Mia (Sutherland High School) secured 3 distinctions in; Business Studies,
Tourism and Life Orientation. “I plan to pursue my tertiary studies at Wits or the University of Pretoria and I am determined to work towards a bright and successful future.”

Humairaa Ghia (Al-Asr Educational Institute) obtained 3 distinctions in; Life Orientation, Accounting and Life Sciences. “Alhamdulillah, I thank the Almighty for His mercy and guidance through this journey and to my amazing parents, family and teachers for their constant support. I hope to pursue my studies in the science field and make a positive impact in the future, Ameen.”

Mishka Ismail Essa (Al-Asr Educational Institute) scored 3 distinctions in; Life Orientation, Business Studies and Tourism. “I am eager to further my education and build a strong foundation for my future career. I plan on pursuing studies in Accounting or Business, with the goal of developing practical skills and financial knowledge. I will be attending Madina Institute in Cape Town for one year to strengthen my Islamic knowledge and personal growth.”

Boikago Sambo (Rosina Sedibane Sports School) received 3 distinctions in; Setswana FAL, Business Studies and Life Orientation. “After completing my Matric, I hope to become both a successful businessman and a professional soccer player.”

Omor Abudu (Head Boy of Al-Asr Educational Institute) achieved 3 distinctions in; Life Orientation, Business Studies and Life Sciences. “In everything that we do, we praise the Almighty. My future goal is to study Information Technology and to give back to the community as payment for the support they have provided for me.”

Yahya Ahmed Hoosen (Central Islamic School) obtained 3 distinctions in; Accounting, Mathematical Literacy and Life Orientation. “Having completed my matric, my goal is to further my studies while strengthening my faith.
