In Loving Memory of my father-inlaw…
It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved father-in-law, Sikander Latib. To me, he was never just a father-in-law, he was truly like a father. He embraced me as his own, and I will always be grateful for his guidance, his presence, and the role he played in my life. He was a man of strength and character, firm yet fair, always kind at heart. He was straightforward and direct, a quality that made him genuine, honest, and deeply respected by all who knew him. His way of speaking and guiding always came from a place of love and sincerity.
He lived with strong values, dignity, and deep care for his family. His warmth, wisdom, and presence brought comfort to those around him. He had a loving heart, and his legacy of kindness, honesty, and strength will continue to live on through all of us.
While this is a great loss, we celebrate a life well lived and a man who gave so much of himself to his family and those around him. We hold on to the beautiful memories, the lessons, and the love he shared.
We make dua that Almighty grants him Jannatul Firdous, forgives his shortcomings, fills his qabr with noor, and grants sabr and ease to the entire family during this time.
Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un Surely we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
Forever loved, forever respected, and never forgotten.

Tribute to Our Beloved Grandfather…
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our beloved grandfather, whose love, wisdom, and
strength shaped generations of our family. He was a man of kindness, dignity, and quiet strength, always offering guidance, warmth, and unwavering support.
To us, he was more than a grandfather he was our protector, our teacher, and the heart of our family. His presence brought comfort, his words brought wisdom, and his love was felt
by all who knew him. Alhamdulillah, he was blessed to see generations grow and to meet his beloved great-grandchildren.
The values he lived by, the lessons he taught us, and the love he gave so freely will remain with us forever. Though our hearts are saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that every soul returns to Allah and that this life is a temporary journey. We pray that by the mercy of the Almighty, he is reunited with his beloved daughter Shazia in
Jannah, in peace, light, and eternal happiness.
We make dua that the Almighty forgives him, grants him mercy, fills his grave with light, and blesses him with the highest place in Jannah.
May his good deeds continue to benefit him, and may we honour his legacy through the values he instilled in us. We will never forget the days spent at our grandparents’ home growing up, filling the house with noise, laughter, chaos, and endless energy, always keeping our Nana busy. Those memories of joy, love, and togetherness will stay in our hearts forever.
A special message from Amani…

Tribute to a pleasant gentleman, Siki Latib
Siki Latib, as we all knew him. I had many conversations with him. Always found him to be a pleasant gentleman with a warm hearted smile. I met Siki on a few occasions at Khans, in Erasmia. I would join him and his friends for a cuppa tea. It was very easy to have a jovial and easy conversation with Siki. Some people are just blessed with a personality to make you comfortable at inception. This is a special gift afforded to few! Siki was certainly one of those who added flavour to a social gathering. “After your departure from this mundane world, all you leave behind is impressions of pleasant character.” May the Almighty elevate Siki Latib in Jannah and grant Sabr and strength to his family.

In Loving Memory of my dear dad…
It is with profound sorrow and an ache that words can scarcely contain that we announce the passing of my beloved father, Sikander Latib, on the 1st of April 2026.
My father was not only a parent, but my anchor, my confidant, and my unwavering source of strength. He was my refuge in times of uncertainty, my guide in moments of doubt, and the first person I turned to for counsel in every chapter of my life. His wisdom was steady, his presence reassuring, and his love—unconditional.
He embodied a rare combination of qualities that made him truly exceptional. He was honest to his core, straightforward in his dealings, yet always kind. His humility was effortless, never seeking recognition, yet leaving a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His wit was unmatched—sharp, playful, and ever-present—bringing laughter even in the most difficult times.
He was also a devoted and loving husband, whose respect and care for my mother were evident in everything he did. He held her in the highest regard, always ensuring that she was comfortable, supported, and never in want of anything. He worried about her deeply, often placing her needs above his own, and their bond was one of quiet strength, mutual respect, and enduring love. The way he cherished her was a testament to the kind of man he was. Even in the face of illness, he remained the embodiment of resilience and optimism. When diagnosed with cancer, he did not surrender to despair. Instead, with unwavering faith and determination, he declared, “We will beat this.” And we fought—with lifestyle changes, with discipline, with hope. Through it all, he never lost his spirit. He continued to joke, to uplift, and to remind us all of the strength found in faith and family.
Despite his condition, he remained fiercely independent, carrying himself with dignity and grace. He never allowed his illness to define him. Rather, he continued to live fully, appreciating even the smallest acts of kindness, always expressing gratitude, and always putting others before himself.
He was deeply loved—not only by his immediate family but by his extended family as well. His nephews cherished him, often reaching out simply to hear his voice, to seek his advice, or to share in his humor. His grandchildren adored him; to them, he was a source of warmth, joy, and wisdom—a presence that made the world feel safe and whole.
His absence now is indescribable. It is a silence that echoes, a void that cannot be filled. A part of me has been taken with him, and the reality of life without my father is something I am still struggling to comprehend. The pain is deep, and it lingers in every quiet moment.
Yet, through this grief, there is also faith.
I pray that the Almighty, in His infinite mercy, forgives my father, grants him ease in his resting place, and elevates him to the highest ranks of Jannah. May his grave be filled with light, and may he be rewarded abundantly for the goodness he brought into this world. My father was my rock. And though he is no longer physically with us, his teachings, his strength, his laughter, and his love will remain with me always.
Until the day I am reunited with him, and with my beloved sister, I will carry him in my heart—with every step, every decision, and every prayer.
Rest in eternal peace, my dearest father. You were, and will always be, everything to me.
