“My mother was born in Witbank to Cassim and Mariam Norath. She would have celebrated her 79th Birthday on 12th November 12, 2025. She passed away peacefully in her sleep and is survived by 5 children, 9 grandchildren including late (late Shermin Moonsamy) and 6 great grandchildren and extended family. The moment you died, my heart was torn in two, one side filled with heartache, the other died with you. I often lie awake at night, when the
world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheeks. Remembering you is easy; I do it every day.
But missing you is a heartache that never goes away. I hold you tightly within my heart, and there you will remain, until the joyous day arrives when we will meet again.”
