A joint effort by the Bethesda Revival Church and members of the Laudium community brought to life a truly memorable and heartfelt event — a surprise 60th birthday celebration for the highly esteemed Pastor Kevin Naicker of Bethesda Revival Church, Laudium.
It was an evening of joy and gratitude as the Bethesda Revival Church, together with members of the community, hosted a surprise 60th birthday celebration for their long standing and beloved leader, Pastor Kevin Naicker, this past Saturday (June 14). The event took place at the church grounds on Primrose Str, Laudium, with more than 300 guests attending the event. Pastor Kevin’s son, Brandon Naicker, emceed the programme and kept it flowing with warmth, charm and wit. Throughout the evening, guests shared emotional tributes highlighting Pastor Kevin’s unwavering commitment to both the church and community over the past 39 years, with Brandon saying to the Laudium Sun, “It was not just a birthday that was being celebrated, but a lifetime of service, sacrifice and spiritual leadership. For nearly four decades, my dad has served as a counsellor, teacher and guide to many, leading with compassion, courage and humility. His ministry has left a lasting impression on all who know him, shaping lives and mentoring future leaders”. The Laudium Sun wishes the Pastor many happy returns, with good health.
The prestigious event, held on Saturday, June 14 — Pastor Naicker’s actual birthday, was hosted at the church premises, in a luxurious tent graciously sponsored by David Naidoo, owner of M&M Hiring and was attended by over 300 guests who came together to honour a remarkable man of God: his life, his leadership, and his unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God.
The evening was gracefully led by none other than Brandon Naicker, Pastor Kevin’s son. As Master of Ceremonies, Brandon captivated the audience with poise and eloquence, steering the celebration with a unique blend of charisma, warmth, and energy that made every guest feel honoured and connected. His presence set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Throughout the celebration, moving tributes poured in from both church members and community leaders, all echoing a common sentiment — the profound and lasting impact Pastor Kevin Naicker has made in the Laudium community.
