According to guidelines of ActionSA, its PR Councillors who are not deployed to specific key positions, are expected to set aside three Mondays in a month, to do work in their Constituencies.

Obakeng.
Thus, this past Monday (July 21), Cllr Prajay co-ordinated a Ward 61 service delivery oversight visit with fellow ActionSA Councillors.
Prajay told the Laudium Sun, “The first issue tackled was streetlights in Laudium, particularly in Extension 3. We then visited Uncle Cassim, who shared his touching story of caring for a 48-year-old son living with disability, but having to also contend with crime, noise, and pollution in Ext 3. The next stop was Erasmia Sector 1. The old water pipes needs to be repaired. There is a low water pressure problem in the area. Residents can only use 1 tap at a time in their homes. Apart from the low pressure, the area already has 1 sinkhole with a danger of more forming, which could damage roads, homes, and electricity infrastructure. Pipe replacement needs to be prioritised over pipe repair. The 4th stop was Gerhardsville, which is in urgent need of by-law enforcement. I will motivate for the Re A Spana team to visit the area to do by-law enforcement.”
Prajay added, “This is not a once off initiative. The team will be back after visiting other areas, but we will still be here, tackling service delivery head on in Wards 61, 66 and 70.”
