This week, we profile soccer enthusiasts, Mohammad Patel Batli and Panashe Chibharo, who attend the same school and share the same dream… to become famous soccer players in the not-to-distant future. Although they walk the same school corridors and share a keen interest in soccer, even fast cars, their football journeys carve-out different paths. Mohammad plays center-midfielder for Eagles FC, always scanning the field, able to help both defense and attack, while Panashe brings speed down the left-wing for Delfos FC. Mohammad’s football hero is non other than Cristiano Ronaldo and he supports international football club, Real Madrid, while Panashe’s football hero is Lionel Messi and he supports local powerhouse, Kaizer Chiefs.
