To my Valentine

The spirit of love will reign this coming Sunday, February 14, being Valentine’s Day. Expressions of affection, exchanging of gifts and spending time with loved ones will be the order of the day.
Although this day of love is the perfect opportunity to take time to express one’s sentiments to loved ones, it is important that this affection is also expressed at other times, especially during this challenging period, that the world is facing. As this Valentine’s Day will be the first celebrated since the global outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, let us remember to observe protocols of social distancing and wearing of masks, when going out. Let us also keep in our prayers, all those near and dear to us, who have succumbed to the virus.

I don’t need a special day to celebrate your love in my life, but since the world is celebrating, I’m here to wish you a Happy Valentine’s Day. Love You.”
