Same school corridors, but different journeys… that is what makes Abdullah Mahmood and Katlego Makgeru the interesting pair we feature this week. The youngsters represent different football clubs, Aztec FC and RH Pro respectively, also playing in different positions on the field. While Abdullah stands firmly between the posts as goalkeeper, Katlego controls play further up the field, as midfielder. Their dreams are just as different. Abdullah has his sights set on becoming the best goalkeeper, wanting to some day claim the prestigious ‘golden glove,’ while Katlego dreams of becoming very successful and using that success to help his mom retire and enjoy the rewards of his achievements. With plenty of hard work, determination and discipline, Abdullah and Katlego have every reason to keep chasing their respective dreams. Whether it is Abdullah making those important saves between the posts or Katlego working his magic in the midfield, also hoping to achieve success off the field, the Laudium Sun wishes the lads everything of the best as they continue developing their talents. Good luck guys!!
