Diesel set to decrease by 57c

The Minister of Mineral Resources, Mr Gwede Mantashe, has announced the adjustment of fuel prices that will come into effect from the 3rd of September 2025. The adjustments are based on a number of current local and international factors.

Take note of the following changes;

  • Petrol 93 (ULP & LRP): Four cents per litre (4.00 c/l) decrease.
  • Petrol 95 (ULP & LRP): Four cents per litre (4.00 c/l) decrease.
  • Diesel (0.05% sulphur): Fifty-six cents per litre (56.00 c/l) decrease.
  • Diesel (0.005% sulphur): Fifty-seven cents per litre (57.00 c/l) decrease.
  • Illuminating Paraffin (Retail): Forty-nine cents per litre (49.00 c/l) decrease.
  • Maximum Retail Price of LPGas: One rand thirty-two cents per kilogram (R1.32 c/kg) decrease.
