This August, our ‘Sun Bridal Couple of the Month’ feature shines the spotlight on cousins, Madeeha and Muhammed of the renowned Kit Kat family, who each stepped into a new, joyous chapter of their lives, recently. The first wedding reception took place on Saturday, July 26, (just after our July month-end edition), when Madeeha (beloved daughter of Mehmood and Mariam Bibi Karim of Eldoglen) glowed with elegance, poise and exquisite beauty beside her dashing groom, medical graduate and UKZN’s best final year medical student 2024,’ Mohamed Hoosen (son of Solly and Ayesha Bibi Suleman of Durban). A delectable dinner at the architecturally impressive Qurtuba Convention Center in Sandton, delighted the guests who were later ushered into an enchanting tea garden, where an array of divine sweet delights awaited… a fitting end to a fairytale evening. Hot on the heels of this breathtaking wedding, the Kit Kat circle, together with family and friends, gathered for yet another momentous occasion, the wedding reception of Muhammed, one of the dynamic and upcoming young heirs of the Kit Kat empire. Muhammed (son of Ahmed and Fatima Gani of Eldoglen) looked effortlessly suave beside his breathtakingly beautiful bride, Aaliya (daughter of Altaz and Shameera Tayob of Johannesburg), on the joyous evening of Saturday, August 16. The reception was hosted at the chic glass enclosed venue at 80 On The Ridge, surrounded by a tranquil, nature-filled setting. Guests were treated to a scrumptious dinner and lovely tea treats to round off an evening of stylish celebration, where modern luxury met traditional warmth. Two cousins, two beautiful unions and one proud family.
