Over 250 guests filled Bay Leaf Restaurant in Laudium recently, for a spiritually uplifting event hosted by Minhaj-ul-Quran International under the theme “The Love of the Prophet (SAW).” Organised by the Minhaj Youth League, the gathering blended devotion, unity, and a call to action. Internationally acclaimed naat reciters Muhammad Shahbaz Sami (Police Naat Khan) and Muhammad Shahbaz Madni delivered moving praises of the Prophet (SAW), stirring deep emotion among attendees. The programme, emceed with elegance and enthusiasm by Malik Azeem, kept the audience engaged throughout. In heartfelt addresses, Bilal Muhammad and Asif Jamil invited guests to join Minhaj-ul-Quran’s global mission of peace, compassion, and youth spiritual revival. Leaders from PASA (Pakistan South Africa Association), the Pakistan South Africa Social Forum and other local organisations attended, showing unity across the community. The evening closed with a group dua for peace and the well-being of the Muslim ummah, leaving attendees inspired to carry the Prophet’s (SAW) message into their daily lives.

The spirit of love, unity, and devotion filled the Bay Leaf Restaurant in Laudium recently as over 250 guests gathered the previous Friday evening, for a powerful event hosted by Minhaj-ul Quran International, centred around the timeless theme: “The Love of the Prophet (SAW).”
Organised by the dynamic Minhaj Youth League, the evening served as both a spiritual rejuvenation and a call to collective action. Attendees were treated to soul stirring renditions of naat by internationally acclaimed reciters Muhammad Shahbaz Sami, famously known as the Police Naat Khan and Muhammad Shahbaz Madni, whose melodious praises of the beloved Prophet (SAW) moved many to tears. The event was masterfully emceed by Malik Azeem, who guided the program with elegance, reverence, and an infectious sense of enthusiasm that kept the audience engaged throughout.
In a heartfelt address, Bilal Muhammad and Asif Jamil extended an open invitation to all present to join the global mission of Minhaj-ul-Quran – a mission of love, peace, and propagation of the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The evening was graced by representatives from various community organisations, including PASA (Pakistan South Africa Association) and the Pakistan South Africa Social Forum, showcasing a shared commitment to unity and the values of the Sunnah. Leaders from across the local faith and civic spectrum praised the initiative, with several expressing support for future collaborative efforts under the banner of love for the Prophet (SAW).
Guests were served a scrumptious dinner by the Bay Leaf team, adding warmth to an evening that had already stirred the hearts of many.
The event concluded with a group du’â (supplication) for peace in South Africa, well-being of the global Muslim ummah, and a renewed commitment to reviving the Prophet’s (SAW) message of mercy and love in every home.
As one attendee noted, “Events like this remind us that the love of the Prophet (SAW) is not just emotional, but transformational. It gives our youth direction, purpose, and light in an increasingly complex world.”
Minhaj-ul-Quran International continues its work across South Africa and globally, striving to spread knowledge, promote interfaith harmony, and encourage the youth to connect with their spiritual identity.
