It is indeed heartening to see just how many young local kids embraced the fasting challenge of Ramadaan this year, by keeping all their fasts, despite fasting only being compulsory from the age of 12. “At first, I wanted to fast because my chacha said he would give me money if I kept all my fasts. When I felt hungry, I started thinking about those children and it made me feel sad for them. I made dua to the Almighty to help them, give them food and make their lives easier.
