It was a thrilling encounter between Laudium Cricket Club u13 and Cricket 101 u13 of Eldoglen, when the two sides met in a 20 over 2025/2026 Titans u13 Gold League A match, held at the Laudium Cricket Oval this past Saturday (Feb 21).
After winning the toss, Laudium u13 opted to bowl first, hoping to restrict their opponents to a manageable total. However, Cricket 101’s batting lineup had other plans. Leading the charge was Czian Jacobs, who delivered a composed and unbeaten 75 off 55 balls, anchoring the innings with maturity and precision. He found strong support from Walt Carstens, who lit up the field with a blistering 67 off just 26 balls, smashing boundaries at will and shifting the momentum firmly in Cricket 101’s favor.

Their partnership proved decisive as Cricket 101 u13 closed their innings at an impressive 172-4, setting Laudium u13 a challenging target of 173 runs in 120 balls.
Laudium Struggled in the Chase
