The Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, Mr Gwede Mantashe, has announced the adjustment of fuel prices that will come into effect from the 1st of October 2025. The adjustments are based on a number of current local and international factors.
Take note of the following changes;
- Petrol 93 (ULP & LRP): One cent per litre (1.00 c/l) increase.
- Petrol 95 (ULP &LRP): Eight cents per litre (8.00 c/l) increase.
- Diesel (0.05% sulphur): Ten cents per litre (10.00 c/l) decrease.
- Diesel (0.005% sulphur): Eight cents per litre (8.00 c/l) decrease.
- Illuminating Paraffin (wholesale): Eleven cents per litre (11.00 c/l) decrease.
- SMNRP for IP: Fifteen cents per litre (15.00 c/l) decrease.
- Maximum Retail Price of LPGas: Seventeen cents per kilogram (17.00 c/kg) decrease and Nineteen cents per kilogram (19.00 c/kg) decrease in the Western Cape.
