The two promising young footballing talents we feature in this week’s ‘Sporting Stars of Tomorrow’ column, are; Jerzinho Naidoo and Ryan Padayachee. The lads share a liking for Maths at Laudium Secondary School, but take different approaches on the football field. Jerzinho is all about goals and attacking flair as striker for Young Eagles FC, while Ryan commands the midfield with composure, for Delfos FC. Jerzinho draws inspiration from the brilliance of Lionel Messi, while Ryan looks up to the determination and work ethic of Cristiano Ronaldo. Despite their differences in style and position, both boys share a strong sense of ambition and purpose, wanting to become professional soccer players and also wanting to give back to their parents, who have supported them along the way.
