The two driven young soccer players we introduce this week, are Laudium Primary School learners, Muhammed Ali (11) and Ndzalo Simango (11), who could hardly be more different, but share the same dream… to one day become professional soccer players. Muhammed is a determined midfielder for Delfos FC and admires international club, Barcelona. Off the field, he has a strong sense of purpose, saying that if football brings him success, he wants to help the homeless and uplift those in need. Ndzalo, on the other hand, plays right-winger for Swaraj FC, looks up to international club, PSG and dreams of one day playing on the big European stage. His motivation is deeply personal, as he hopes that one day his success in football will allow him to buy his parents a big home. While their personalities differ, one name that unites them is Lionel Messi, with both lads admiring the global icon’s footballing brilliance. The Laudium Sun wishes the pair everything of the very best as they continue to chase the ball and grow in the game they are so enthusiastic about. All the very best guys… the same dream that began on the local fields will hopefully soon carry you to the professional stage you so much aspire to!!
