This week, we profile defender, Alvaro Ramden and midfielder, Weston Chiwa, a pair of teens with a passion for the beautiful game. The boys play for different clubs, Delfos FC and Azrec FC, admire different international soccer stars and support different international clubs, namely Liverpool and Barcelona respectively. However, they unite in their shared goal of wanting to become successful soccer players, with both also committed to one heartfelt mission – to make their mothers proud and cherish and spoil their mums when they achieve success. Whether it’s through a crunching tackle, or dazzling pass, the pair still stay grounded, believing that success isn’t just about goals and glory, but about honoring one’s roots and never forgetting the ones who nurtured you from day one.
