Naidoo (33) made the pictured catch last Saturday (Aug 15)… a 9kg Carp beauty he lured in, thanks to a special bait of garlic floaties.
Deveshan told the Laudium Sun, “I felt a deep sense of excitement and pride after a successful fishing experience at Ifafi Dam. I found the experience both Deveshan Naidoo proudly shows his 9kg Carp catch… thrilling and satisfying, as the effort and time I invested were finally rewarded. When the fish was hooked, I experienced a surge of adrenaline, followed by strong focus to ensure that the catch was secured successfully. I felt proud of the technique I applied and the choice of bait proved to be effective on the day.
I also appreciated the time spent at Ifafi Dam, as I experienced a calm and peaceful environment. I enjoyed a break from my daily routine, and the surroundings allowed me to relax and reflect. The experience was not only about catching the fish, but also about enjoying nature and quiet moments. I see the 9kg catch as a personal achievement, and I will remember the day for a long time.
