Hello there dear Kids Corner readers and welcome to this May edition of your favourite column. Eid-ul-Adha is being celebrated today (May 28) and there is much excitement in the air. The day commemorates the great sacrifice that the prophet Ebrahim (AS) was prepared to make for the Almighty. This very special occasion is a beautiful reminder of sacrifice, kindness, generosity, caring for others, sharing and being thankful for all the blessings of the Almighty. So, dear kids, to those of you who are celebrating Eid-ul-Adha, remember to help at home, be kind to everyone, keep smiling and share your sweets. Small acts of kindness can make a very big difference. May the day of Eid-ul-Adha bring lots of happiness and peace to all our readers and their families, who will be celebrating. Eid Mubarak!

Congratulations to our Winners!!!
Below are the three Kids Corner readers who really excelled in our April contest and are our chosen winners! And here we stress chosen winners…as the number of entries we receive each month never ceases to astonish us! It is amazing – and the quality absolutely breathtaking (our judges certainly have their work cut out for them!) We are thrilled! To think that such incredible talent lies in the hands of our young readers! What a great thought, knowing that we can expect only great things from you! We’d say, keep it up, but we just know that’s what you plan on doing in any case, without any prompting from us! Let’s rather say, keep us amazed!
